Awsome weekend….

Published by Piyush Gupta under Chennai Days, Personal

This weekend was full of rain here in chennai. Rain started saturday evening and continued till sunday night 2:30AM….

actually i slept at that time and when i woke up at 7:30AM there was no rain….

But this weekend was really very very interesting…

First it was so much rain I seen first time in my life.It was really very very pleasant and cool atmosphere here.I really enjoyed it.the atmosphere just reminded me of delhi winter.

I was feeling like lost in the old memories of winter days enjoying those days with coffee and pakodas at home with family. :)

On 28th October 2006 I got my first appointment letter of job. Thats the job I am doing now….

BSNL Customer Care….

Published by Piyush Gupta under BSNL, Faltoo

On ,day before yesterday, my broadband connection stopped working. I thinks may be some connection problem so I checked everything..network connection, telephone lines and modem but I was not able to see ADSL signal in modem.

I waited for one day and yesterday called BSNL custome care. First ,as usual, connecting to their Customer Care Executive(as they say :P ) takes 15 minutes.

I asked him “My phone line is dead can you check what is the issue?”

After that i told him the Phone number and other information.

He replied “Sir, your phoneline is cut from here because your telephone bill is pending”

I asked “Which bill? I paid all my bills”

He replied “Sir, its 7th month bill which is not deposited.”

I asked “Is it only 7th month bill?”

He replied “Yes sir, you have paid 8th month bill and also 9th month bill but your 7th month bill is still pending?”

I asked “You cut the line in 10th month for 7th month bill :P  even after we paid 8th month and 9th month bills :D Can’t you just intimate with a call that our bill is pending and if we are not paying you will cut the phone line?”

He replied “Sir, this is not our responsibility. You should go to local exchange and confirm weather a bill is pending on your name or not?”

I said “Thankyou” and I cut the phone.

Navraatri sabhi ke liye shubh ho !!!!

Published by shreya under Festival

You might be an atheist, an agnostic or a strong believer but the fact remains that these religious festivals makes India one in a holy sense and keeps the spirit going.

The means are different but the spirit of celebration is same whether it be the enchanting and alluring Garba folks or it is the “mela” in our local cities. The colors of joy, the hustle bustle all around infuses in you that something we called a feeling of being a “Proud Indian”.

In those daily “Ramlilas” kids shouting “Jai-ho-veer” that in our childhood days we used to pronounce “jayovee” (:-).  people watching them from their terrace and telling their kids the Indian tales, there lies some cementing belief that binds us to our roots.

When Ravana’s effigy is turning to ashes the joy in the yells and the shouts is so vivid as if the evil in us has been wrecked down………..

Whatsoever it may be ……the spirit of celebration, the feeling of oneness, a zeal of Proud Indian, temptation of delicious sweets, chirpy perky mood of festivity or whatever………….. but It brings an incarnation of Happiness, joy, elation and a break from our hectic and monotonous schedules………………. aur phir “ek break to banta hai !!!”

WISHING YOU ALL HAPPY NAVRAATRAS !!!!!!
